Do you currently live in your dream home? I’m working on it, my husband and I just purchased a nice amount of land and are planning on building a home on the land. I sure hope it’s my dream home, lol. However, I think it’s going to be a work in progress for many years to come because that’s just how things work. There is always something you want to change, things that need to be updated and so on.
What would your dream home look like? Do you want a basement, extra bedroom, carpet, tile, what color of countertops do you want? Would you rather live in the city or out in the country where you can have horses, chickens, ducks, dogs, and let the kids run while?
I’m a country girl to the bone, everything about I is and always will be country. We currently have a house inside the city limits, and I hate it, the kids can’t ride their bikes or run around and be kids because there is too much traffic and I don’t trust anyone when it comes to my kids. Plus my girls like to ride horses, go-carts, four-wheelers and those are two things you really can’t get away with in the city. Plus, I do admit sharing my passion for horses with my girls puts a smile on my face!
My poor husband, he has a honey-do list the size of Texas, and it’s only going to get bigger if they start building the other house before we finish this one. We don’t have that much left to do it’s mostly stuff like molding, siding, shingles, decking, and railing.
I do admit, I’m pretty excited to get the shingles, decking, and railing done because it’s going to complete the outside of our home. I still don’t know if we are going to sell the house or try and keep it, guess we will cross that bridge when it gets here. The more I think about getting the outside all finished up, the more excited I get. It’s going to look so good, and I’ll probably even be motivated to get my front yard back under control lol.
I recently learned about some a Grayne Engineered Cedar Shingles, they are the perfect replacement for natural cedar siding or headboard. With Grayne Engineered Cedar Shingles you get a high-quality solution that’s low maintenance. Plus, you’ll get to enjoy the sharp, crisp edges, the beauty, and the color technology for the most authentic look possible.
Next on the list is Clubhouse Deck & Rail, it’s high-end PVC decking and railing. Just look at the above picture, is that amazing decking and railing or what? Oh, and get this it’s 100% PVC, there isn’t any wood or wood fillers which mean you don’t have to deal with all the problems that come along with wood – bugs, rotting damage, etc. Not to mention the fact that Clubhouse Deck & Rail is 25% lighter than most wood composites.
Oh and their proprietary Korelite™ technology make an excellent, unique, dense cell structure that provides superior strength. It has a more solid underfoot feel than many competitors. Korelite also works to reduce the chances for degradation from mildew, mold, freezing and thawing, unlike many competitor decking. Korelite also helps to keep the moisture out!
Clubhouse PVC decking also offers their customers a limited lifetime warranty within 25 year fade and stain protection that is backed by a global leader with 75 years experience in world class engineering, Deceuninck.
