Have you started to add protein to your diet?  If not, you might consider doing so after learning just how important protein is and why.

Understandably, protein is always at the top of everyone’s list when searching for better snacking options.  Did you know that just about every single cell in your body contains protein?  Yes, it’s considered to be the building block of life.  Without sufficient protein intake, our body cannot repair cells and make new ones which can lead to fatigue and the feeling of malaise.

I bet some of you are wondering how much protein you should be getting daily.  Well, actually it depends on several facts, mostly stage of life but in most cases, adults need about 45-60 grams of protein daily.
