I wanted to share a few Thanksgiving Dinner Recipes with all of you. Thanksgiving is quickly approaching and if you are like my family, we are always scrambling around to see what I forgot from my list of things to get. I hope that you will enjoy each of the dishes below and that you will attempt to make them with your family. They are some favorites in my family.
The first recipe is a favorite of mine personally. I have a few of the kids that do not like this, but I have to tell you. it is amazing. There are different ways to make this and I have tried many different ways. Here is one below that I will share with you.
Green Bean Casserole Ingredients:
2 cans of cream of mushrooms
3 cups of fresh cut string green beans (Or you can buy 2 cans of fresh cut green beans)
1 container of fried french onions.
Directions:
-Preheat oven to 350 degrees
-If using fresh string green beans clean the beans and cut the ends off.
-Place into a pot of hot water and boil the green beans until tender and hot.
-in another sauce pan, pour in the cream of mushroom and keep on low heat while green beans cook.
-Combine green beans with cream of mushroom and then pour into a baking dish.
-sprinkle around the edges with the fried onions.
-bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
This next dish below is an all time favorite that my mom used to make for us. I have since made this year after year.
Of course who has Thanksgiving Dinner without Stuffing? I never let a Thanksgiving dinner pass without making stuffing.
There is your dinner. You can add more to your dinner as I do, but I wanted to share the above ones that I never go without making for Thanksgiving Dinner. Those are the most important in a dinner.
