My children and husband have them scarfed down in no time.  I actually make a few batches of these so that we can snack on them for a few days.  The neighbor lady enjoys when I make these.  I share them with her and her husband.  She always looks forward to getting them.  She is such a sweet lady.

Lemon Bars are really great tasting.  I like that this particular recipe is not overpowering with the lemon.  There are only five ingredients in this treat.  My daughter helped me make these this last time that I made them.  As I have stated before, she loves to help out in the kitchen and she does 4-H cooking and baking, so this was another project for us to work on and spend quality time together.  I love seeing her smile when she gets to help in the kitchen.  She is always excited.  When the foods that we make together are done, she has a sparkle in her eye that no mom could ignore.  She giggles and wants to show everyone the finished product.

That is pretty simple. I love it when kids get excited about cooking.

I adore lemon bars, they are like little buttery lemon pies. I grow lemons on my tree outside, but our lemons are so very sour (really off the charts). I am wondering if I should make this with Myer Lemons instead.

I love Lemon Bars, but I have never made them from scratch, only from a Box. I will definitely try this Recipe the next time that I make these, it is wonderful that you and your Daughter have such bonding time, I miss that with my Daughter and my Son whom are now grown and living their lives.

Thanks for the Pictures, Post, and the Recipe, they look delicious!

Makes me feel like Sansa Stark. Can’t wait to bake them, when I start to rewatch GoT.

This is strange. It’s not letting me post, because it’s coming up as spam. I am not spam. I really like lemon bars and GoT. 🙁

This sounds so good, I would like to try it. Can you tell me how much lemon juice? Lemons are such different sizes. Thanks.

Squeeze all the juice you can out of three decent sized (medium) lemons. Honestly, I give it a good old taste test after I squeeze the three in, normally that if enough for my liking but every now and then I have to add a little extra.
