I love the fall and winter months but are so many things I dislike about them, lol. I guess it’s a double edge sword, will I ever be happy! Yes, once everything is perfect all year around. You know 80-degree weather, rain when I want it, maybe some snow now and then so we can build a snowman other, and of course everything to go my way. Yup, that should do it. Oh, wait world peace, for everyone to get along, and be kind to one another that would be sweet too. Sadly, just like the weather that causes dry skin I have no control over certain things in life so I have to learn to do what I can.
Since I can’t control the weather I turn to excellent products like Vaseline Intensive Care, which get this, is clinically proven to heal very dry skin like mine in as little as five days. It’s prescription strength moisturization with the stress of visiting the doctor for a prescription. YUP that’s awesome right!
I can honestly say I’ve been using Vaseline products when the chilly weather comes around since I was a child. Growing up there was always a bottle of Vaseline lotion next to my moms chair, and man she would get so mad when I would take it from her lol. Now that I have children, I fully understand her frustration and have apologized 1000 times hoping it would someone change things and make my kids stop taking mine. Again, out of my control, I guess I need to accept the fact that I am not the only person in the house who suffers from dry skin during the cooler months and share but darn it I don’t want to, lol. Oh, the stress of being a mom, another thing I can’t change.
During the chilly months, so many of us experience dry skin, especially in those naturally rougher spots – knees and elbows, which can get super dry, flaky and it happens as soon as the temp drops. If you have dry skin during the cooler months, stop trying to control things that are out of your control and check out this awesome offer for Vaseline products at Target! Right now until October 24th you can save 5 percent on Vaseline products with Cartwheel!
