Gosh, I remember attending college! I lost count of how many scholarships I applied for. The Groza Learning Center Education Scholarship
The Groza Learning Center Education Scholarship was created to help students who are interested in higher education with reaching their goals of attending a university or college.
For the Groza Learning Center Education Scholarship each year there is a theme that will be picked and the students who wish to apply may do so by responding to a short essay. For the 2017 school year, applicants will have fun with a theme around redemption. Yes, they will need to write an essay on what redemption means to them and how it has somehow played a role in their lives as well as their interactions with other.
Once the students have completed their essays there will be a committee who will select a scholarship winner by the end of November 2017. There will be one winner who will receive $1000 to use toward their higher education.
To be eligible for the scholarship you must be a high school student who graduates in 2017.
Have been accepted into university or college
Be currently enrolled in a college or university.
The essay must be completed in less than 500 words on how redemption has played a role in your life. The submission deadline for the application is November 30th, 2017 and the winner will be selected by the last day in December 2017 and the winner will be contacted by January 7, 2018. Be sure to be on the lookout for the email because you will only have 2 weeks to respond. If there is no response there will be a new winner selected.
