Do you get your daily limit of water every single day?  I know I do, but there are times when life happens, and I know I don’t meet my minimum requirement of water.

Do you know how much water you should drink daily?  Your body needs about 13 cups for males and 9 cups for females, according to the World Health Organization.  However, it could be more based on diet, weather, heatlh, exercise, etc.  My mom taught us at a young age to listen to our bodies, and if we felt thirtsy it was becaseu our body needed water – NO THE SODA we so desperately thought we needed lol.  Cokes, some juices, sports drinks, and other drinks we might think are good for us can have high sugar and low sodium, and are not ideal for hydrating your body.

It might sound crazy, but sodium is necessary for keeping the body hydrated.  It works to conserve body water; sodium works with glucose to improve the absorption process of in your body, and helps to maintain your bodies hydration.  If you’re looking for hydration drinks be sure and use something like DripDrop, which retains a sodium level that promotes proper body hydration because they retain sodium levels.
