Summer is almost here! Many can relate that the winter dredge can be a hard routine to break. During the cold months of winter and the windy, rainy days of spring, exercise isn’t always the first thing on our to do lists. However, with the warm weather approaching, we want to get active and start feeling and looking better. Even if your days are full of work, kids, and chores, here are 5 ways to get active during your day with the Motorola 360 Watch, you can be prepared and ready for each day.
1.) Dance it clean
When you are cleaning house, clean at double speed. Working faster burns more calories and breaks a sweat. You want to get the heart rate up. When I start cleaning, I check my heart rate on my Motorola 360 and then every 15 minutes to keep it at a constant rate.

2.) Push-up cooking
Cooking dinner is another opportunity to get active. I load up my favorite recipe on my Motorola 360 screen and get started. If you are cooking pasta, potatoes, or whatever, do standing push-ups on the countertop while you wait for the water to boil. Add your ingredient and do more while you wait for it to cook through. The time it takes to boil and cook can total almost 20 minutes which you can turn into a work out instead of a waiting game.

3.) Walk it out
If you live in a small town or a large city, getting to work can be accomplished a number of ways. Ride your bike to work as often as you can, or walk each day to your job. This adds some extra activity, saves on gas, and helps the environment. The ride or walk will get your adrenaline and endorphins pumping to help put you in a better mood before and after work. With the Motorola 360, you can search how far the walk/ride is and the estimated arrival time. With that information, challenge yourself to beat the estimated time.

4.) Lost remote
Watching television has always been a nice treat after a long day. It can also be a great opportunity to get rid of some calories. Instead of gluing your bum to the couch and the remote in your hand, get up to change the channels or the volume. With your Motorola 360, you have a television show search guide on your wrist. Decide what to watch from your watch!

5.) Kid at (healthy) heart
Another part of summer is keeping up with the kids now that they’re out of school. That is a workout in itself. But, make it more fun for them and more active for you. Ask your Motorola 360 what the weather is going to be that day and plan your activities accordingly. If it’s going to be a sunny and warm day, prepare a water balloon war. If your Motorola 360 sends warnings of rain, plan some indoor activities. You could have a fitness competition and see who can do the most jumping jacks, sit ups, push-ups, etc. Be sure to award the winner with a great trophy, made of ice cream and chocolate.

Getting active doesn’t have to consist of squeezing into spandex and heading to the gym full of muscles heads and blond Barbie dolls. You can get a nice work out in throughout your day. With the Motorola 360, you can keep track of your progress among other things. Here’s some things I, and my boyfriend, liked about the Motorola 360 to show you how beneficial this watch is for your everyday life, not just staying active.

When I first received my Motorola 360 Android Wear Watch, I was a bit skeptical. I had used a “smartwatch” before and wasn’t too impressed. It seemed more of a headache to use it than I could deal with. But, once I fiddled with it and learned what it had to offer, I was super excited. It has a heartbeat tracker, you can text message, and sync apps from your phone to your watch.

I was quite impressed and my boyfriend actually has taken over possession for the moment. He saw it had an alarm which he uses to get up for work and now he’s found he can browse Amazon and Facebook too! Another function we both have come to find handy is that it helps to find our phone when we lose it by placing a call. Either way, it’s getting plenty of use and has made a lot of things easier.
