October is upon us and here comes autumn. Everyone is getting ready for Halloween. Deciding what costume to wear, getting treats for mini vampires and princesses, and planning the best party. October is also an important month for another reason. It is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Though each day there are many fighting the battle against cancer, October is time to raise awareness. I am joining Glamulet in their campaign to help inform people of the 2nd largest killer of women. I support Glamulet’s Campaign proudly and ask that you join us to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Glamulet.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is widely recognized and supported. Professional sports to school fundraisers to small community benefits are all joining the cause. The main focus is to get the word out about Breast Cancer.
Glamulet has used their standing as a top women’s jewelry go-to source and have started their own campaign.
Glamulet launched in 2014 and offers trendy and elegant jewelry of high quality at an affordable price. They feel that women should always be able to feel beautiful and express herself. The Glamulet Charms can be mixed and matched to create a personalize Bracelet that expresses their own inner beauty. To add to the empowerment of women, Glamulet is taking it one step further. For every Charm and Bracelet that you buy, 50% of the sales is donated to a charity fund for breast cancer. Beauty, functionality, and proactive; Glamulet wants you to be aware and I want you to join us in this campaign against breast cancer!

With Halloween being the holiday of October, why not use that as a springboard to spread awareness about breast cancer? There are ways to incorporate Breast Cancer Awareness at you next Halloween Party. Here are a few fun ideas to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month at your next Halloween Party.
Costumes
** Costume parties and masquerade galas are a big hit and a chance to be creative. You may have seen the “Boob Inspector” costumes that were circulating a few years ago. Take that idea and instead of a crass joke, turn it into a Mammogram to promote getting examined.
** Dress as a detective in all pink clothing and accessories. Make a badge that says EBI: Early Breast Inspection. Then, as your business card, hand out self-examination cards (you can get them at the doctor or clinic) to promote early detection.
** Dress with a friend as two breasts. This could be two single breasts and when you come together, there is a bra that connects the two costumes.
** You could also dress as a human size pink ribbon to represent Breast Cancer Awareness. Sewing a pink ribbon costume does take some talent, but you could always wear all pink with an oversized pink tie that is pinned and starched to form. The possibilities for these costumes is huge and super fun to explore.

Party Food
** Every party needs food and a great way to supply food is to have a pot luck style get together. Request that everyone bring a Breast Cancer Awareness inspired dish.
** If making your own dishes, there are tons of chances to be creative. You could make cupcakes that look like breast. With a bra for a more modest party, but it is a definite way to get attention of guests.
** Use napkins that have the self-examination chart on them as well. It is a light way to address a touch subject.
** Serve your favorite dip and add pink food coloring to support Breast Cancer Awareness.
** Finally, bake some cinnamon rolls that are shaped like the pink ribbon. Add food coloring to the frosting and you’ll have pink frosted ribbons to munch on. (You could do this with any kind of snack bread.)
Party Time
Glamulet has great Charms that are beautiful and quality accessories for every woman. Why not use them to glam up your Halloween Party too?

** At your party, have a raffle or silent auction for a specialty Charm Bracelet by Glamulet. The winner will either get a gift certificate to build their own or one that is already designed for every woman.
** The Charms are affordable and a great addition, so use that at your party. Give a charm as prizes for games and be sure to share the Glamulet site for everyone to purchase their own. Remind them that 50% of the sales go to a charity fund for breast cancer.
October is a great month, partly because Halloween is at the end, but mostly because it is a month to spread awareness about breast cancer. Glamulet wants to empower women and allow them to express themselves and feel beautiful in everything they wear. The Glamulet Charms are beautiful and quality made jewelry accessories to promote Breast Cancer Awareness.
Head to Glamulet’s website to get your own Charms and Bracelet and you can show your support of Breast Cancer Awareness in Pink October and during every month of the year as well.
I look forward to seeing the great Breast Cancer Awareness inspired costumes that will pop up this month. Do you have any costume ideas or recipes for your next Halloween/Breast Cancer Awareness Party?
