Ever wondered how to get rid of blackheads naturally?  If so you’ll love this DIY blackhead mask!

Blackheads, YUCK! I always thought my blackheads would have stayed in my puberty years.  I had no idea that I’d be in my late 20s looking for ways to get rid of blackheads naturally.  I should just be thankful I found out about this DIY blackhead mask before I turned 30 lol.  The blackhead mask works great and it’s so much better than picking at your face.

How to Get Rid Of Blackheads Naturally | DIY Blackhead Mask

To make your blackhead mask you’re going to need two ingredients which are:

  • 1 teaspoon of gelatin (just regular gelatin, no flavoring coloring or anything).
  • 3 teaspoons of milk
  • Microwave safe bowl
  • Brush or something to apply the mixture to your face.

Ready to get started on our DIY Blackhead Mask?  Yepie, let’s get to it:

regular gelatin

  • Place gelatin into a bowl.  If you are planning on covering your whole face, you may consider doubling up on the recipe, so you have plenty to cover your entire face.

diy milk mask

  • Mix your gelatin with the milk to obtain a homogeneous paste.

  • Place the mixture in the microwave for about 15 seconds.
  • Test mixture and make sure it’s not too hot and apply to face while it’s still warm whenever you have issues with blackheads.

DIY Blackhead Peel Mask

  • Leave the mixture on an area until thoroughly dry and tightens face.  Typically about 20 minutes or so.
  • Peel off masks by going against the way your hair grows.  So on your nose, you would pull from the top down.

Blackheads on nose

You can see some small blackheads on the bridge of my nose and in the crease of my nose.  The crease of my nose is without a doubt my trouble area and the peel is the onl thing that gets most of them so I don’t end up picking at my face.

BAM as you can see most of the blackheads are gone.  Not only on in the crease of my nose but on the bridge as well!

If you decide to give this black head peel mask, a try is sure and leave me a comment and let me know what you think.  I started using this mask about every other week about a year ago, and it’s done a fabulous job.  I would have had a bit more blackheads on the crease of my nose but I did a peel last week.  I generally do a peel about once a month and if I need one in between it’s a natural peel so I can do it without stressing out..  The DIY blackhead mask works like a charm.

Do you have trouble with blackheads and dry skin due to the harsh winter months?  Do you have any tips or tricks that help you combat them?

This sounds like something I could try. Blackheads are not that big problem for me but once noticed, they’re irritating.

OMG me too I used to pick at my face like a crazy person. I don’t know what it is about zits but they must be popped lol. You don’t happen to live in NM do you lol. Not many people do it’s kind of the place that everyone forgets lol. When I travel and tell people I am from New Mexico they tell me stuff like “Oh wow they let you come this far north” and my favorite is “Well my gosh I had no idea they spoke such good English there” lol. It’s comical for sure, but still makes you wonder how people graduated high school lol.

Very cool, I will give this a mask a try! I’ve tied the baking soda/lemon mask for blackheads and it didn’t do much as far as reducing blackheads. Thank! 🙂
