A Few Affordable Gift Ideas for Teen Girls

by Jenn

My oldest daughter is a teen, and I love her to pieces but the older she gets, the more difficult it is for me to find her a gift she will like.  I used to think I knew what she liked, but now it changes so often I wouldn’t begin to guess.  Besides, if I were to buy her a shirt today that she said she wanted, by the time Christmas rolled around, she would have changed her mind.  Finding gift ideas for a teen girl isn’t easy but Black Friday is always a great time to get a jumpstart on your Holiday shopping

Here are a few affordable gift ideas for teen girls to get you Black Friday off to strong start so you can save money..

1.) Camera – Which camera you choose depends on your budget, but the good news is you can score a pretty awesome point and shoot camera for a reasonable price.

2.) Tablet – What teen doesn’t want a tablet?  With Black Friday right around the corner, you’ll likely be able to score some fabulous deals on a tablet for your teen daughter.

3.) Bedding – OMG, my daughter finally wants to keep her room looking beautiful, it’s taken YEARS! I am going to support her with nice bedding and curtains for her room.  I’m all about keeping things clean and neat!

4.) Books – You might have to hint around a little to find out which books she is interested in, but I found they are a great gift especially since teens like their space.  It gives them something constructive to do rather than taking selfie after selfie, lol.

5.) Jewelry – You’ll likely be able to buy jewelry your daughter will love for a great price even if you miss out on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

6.) Jewelry box – If they don’t already have a jewelry box I’m sure they would love a place to keep all the jewelry they’re going to start accumulating.  Gosh, I hate my daughter growing up.  Just thinking about it makes me sad.

7.) Slippers – Hey, we all need a pair of cute puppy slippers!

8.) Gaming console – yea, it’s because they love these things.  I’m glad my girls don’t spend every waking moment playing, but they like to play from time to time.  Most of my daughter’s friends are gamers; I’m assuming it’s most teens.

9.) Nail polish – Great stocking stuffers!  Plus they have some really neat polish pens, vibrant colors, etc.  Nail polish is a great stocking stuffer for any girl; I’m sure your teen will love it.

10.) Headphones – You remember being a teen right?  MUSIC was everything!  Headphones let them jam out without making anyone else suffer from their music, lol.

11.) Perfume – Hey, girls want to smell nice.

12.) Fun novelty socks – Who doesn’t like a fun pair of My Little Pony or Super Hero socks? As an adult, I would love them, lol.

14.) Hair products – Becoming a teen means suddenly, from one day to the next caring about your hair.  Get her some good hair products that are her very own.  – Shampoo, conditioner, mousse, hairspray, etc.

14.) Smartphone – Last but certainly not least is a smartphone!  Yes, you can get your teen a smartphone without breaking the bank.  Thankfully, there are places like  where you can score pretty great deals and actually save you money, without credit checks or contracts.  Check it out:

A camera or a tablet is only good when the teen girls do not use it for making duckface photos and posting them on social media.
