What can I say I love to travel, but with four children I have to get a little creative! Even when we decided on heading to Las Vegas I had to do some reasearch on things to do in Las Vegas for free! Grab your traveling had and let’s get started! This post brought to you by Southwest Airlines Vacations. All opinions are 100% mine.
My husband and I jumped in the car last year for a Las Vegas vacation. It was time for mom and dad to let loose and have some fun. We love our kids, but it’s important that we also get our alone time. What a better place to have adult time than in Las Vegas, NV.
Las Vegas is loads of fun. Whether you’re with your spouse, or group of close friends you’re going to have a blast. After all, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right? If you’re looking for a way to spend some adult time Vegas in the perfect place. There is so much to do there’s little time for sleeping. Shows going on all the time, casinos, or being a tourist for the day. There is never a dull moment in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas has always been our escape from the kids, and our daily life. It’s a great place to let go of any stress you might have, leave behind your day to day life, and have some fun. Remember what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. If you’re searching for the perfect place to get away I highly recommend a Vegas vacation!
There is even ways for you to save money on the things you enjoy! If you want to spend most of your money on shows, the casinos, or the never ending nightlife Vegas has to offer, there is things to enjoy for free on your downtime. Okay, so it’s really known as recovery time, not downtime lol. Either way, I decided to share 8 fun things to do in Vegas that are free. After all there might be a night when you’re looking for amazing entertainment free, and there is plenty of free activities in Las Vegas.
Here is awesome things to do in Las Vegas FREE.
Welcome to Vegas – I know it’s just a sign, but IT’S THE WELCOME TO VEGAS SIGN. Take a picture, or maybe even a hug because you’re about to have the vacation of a lifetime.
Dancing Waters – Don’t miss this one, you can find it at the Bellagio Casino.
The Aquarium at the Silverton – This is an amazing 177,000 gallon saltwater aquarium.
Ethel M Chocolate Factory – Everyone loves chocolate, and this place will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth. You’ll need to jump in a cab for this one, but it’s totally worth visiting if you’re looking for something sweet.
Fall of Atlantis – Check out Caesars Palace’s Fall of Atlantis. It’s a must see step back in time to ancient Rome.
Fremont Street – Oh yea, we have all head of Fremount Street right! Why not check it out, and experience the street with the $70 million light canopy and 540,000 watt sound system. Yup, it’s a must see!
Streetmophere – Why not add a little entertainment to your shopping experience.
Volcano at the Mirage – You will have plenty of chances to see this, every single hour after dusk the Mirage volcano explodes.
There is plenty more to do in Vegas free, I hope you will take advantage of them and save your money for all the other fun things there is to do in Las Vegas. What’s a few of your favorite things to do in Vegas, and if you haven’t been yet, what’s something you’re looking forward to doing.

Never been to Vegas but my aunt would go all the time. Thanks for the free no cost things to do when there. Just like Atlantic City and the other places to go to to gamble there are always other things to do and see for free. We do that alot when we dont want to gamble away our money.
Thank you sooo much for sharing! I am 31 and have NEVER been there I keep telling my husband lets go!!! I have to share this with him! thank you do much especially the 7 free things to do AWESOME!
I haven’t been to Fremont Street since they covered it with the canopy, so I guess it’s been a while. I’m not sur how I feel about the new Fremont Street since my fondest association with it is U2′s video “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” back when it was a bit grittier.
THANKS FOR SHARING –THIS IS NICE TO KNOW…
I’d love to visit. I’m glad that you posted some free attractions because I typically only think of gambling. Or I should say I did!
Vegas is my favorite vacation spot and free is always a beautiful thing!
I would love to go to Vegas. I have heard many great things about it.
I have always wanted to go to Las Vegas and appreciate your post with us!
I love Vegas. Thanks for sharing!
Wow! I did not know that Z can do fun and free stuff in Vegas. I would love to travel there someday and go to some of these awesome places! I like going to the place that has chocolate and to the water fountain!
I agree with the Dancing Waters: my husband once treated me to a weekend in a suite at the Bellagio with a view of the waters – awesome! Another freebie: (if you don’t open your wallet!) walking around the mall at Caesar’s.
haha, I have to agree keep the wallet closed… but it is an amazing experiance and totally worth the money! Nothing beats FREE expecially in Vegas
