The kids and I had a little fun last night making a few Halloween decorations for the house.  Thankfully, I found everything we needed for these three DIY Halloween decorations at Dollar Tree.  It’s that time of year when I have to put extra effort into budgeting.

By shopping at our local Dollar Tree store, the kids and I were able to have fun creating these three awesome DIY Halloween decorations for less than $15!

  • Cut the tulle into small squares, 2-4 pieces, and place them on the counter facing different directions.  Grab all the layers of the tulle from the center and tie the bottom of the tulle using a piece of string.  Glue the tulle to the covered floral ring using the tacky glue.

  • Tear off a small part of the spider web and wrap the wreath.  Be sure to pull the web so it’s nice and thin so you can still see the wreath underneath, and add a few spiders.

DIY Spooky Eyeball Halloween Wreath

I only spent $10 making all three of these fun DIY Halloween projects and created memories that will last a lifetime with the kids.  Just so that you know I did split the package of pom-poms and the tacky glue I only purchased one bottle.  Just in case you are doing the math and things are not adding up.

Anytime the kids and I come up with fun crafting ideas Dollar Tree is my first stop because I know they have a huge selection and I can count on everything costing $1.  Dollar Tree is the largest and most successful single-price-point retailer in the US and is currently operating in all the 48 contiguous states.

Dollar Tree

You can shop at your local Dollar Tree store or visit DollarTree.com for supplies. If you are looking to purchase Halloween items after 9/26/17 you’ll need to visit your Dollar Tree store because Halloween products are removed from DollarTree.com so they can make sure their stores are stocked.

My favorite part is the eyeballs you put in there, A bit creepy, just as it should be.
