Pantene’s Platinum Color Lock Shampoo and Conditioner

by Jenn

Remember several weeks ago when I introduced you to Pantene’s Platinum Color Lock Shampoo and Conditioner?  If you missed out on it you can read about these 6 Things You Might Be Doing To Damage Your Hair.

I don’t know about you, but I feel like my hair fades too quickly.  Everything starts out great, I love the color, but before I know it I am disappointed because my color fades and I’m worried there might be a few shiny silver hairs, lol.  I am too young, and reguse to call them anything but silver hairs.

Okay, so here I am when I started using Pantene’s Platinum Color Lock Shampoo and Conditioner, a little over 6 weeks ago.  I had just colored my hair 2 days before taking this picture.

afterI tried to have my daughter take my photo, but she just wasn’t in the mood.  So this is me doing the best I can to get you a side shot, lol.

This is a good one outside, we just got finished playing in the water.  As you can see, no silver hairs are shining through, lol.  My roots, however, need some TLC, but that’s normal.  Just to show you how well it works here I am 6 weeks ago, right after coloring my hair.

I’ve been doing my own hair for years and now that my sister lives with me I have her to help, which means I can add more colors.  Typically I stick with blonde, but I had my sister to help so we did blonde, a reddish brown, and of course, left some of the natural hair color.  The part I’m most excited about is the fact there is still any red in my hair.  As you can see toward the bottom right side there is still the reddish brown, which doesn’t normally happen after 6 weeks.

My sister normally colors her hair red, but she recently went back blonde because the red fades quickly.  However, she’s been talking about going back red because she wants to try Pantene’s Platinum Color Lock Shampoo and Conditioner on her hair to see how well it holds the color.  I know it did a good job on my hair and I’m even more excited to see how well it holds the red in her hair because she goes all red.

Pantene_Platinum_ProductShot_1The size of the bottles is AWESOME!  I just love that they come in the 40-ounce bottles so they last me a while.  I honestly don’t know how long they will last, I still have plenty left.  FYI, I have shorter hair and wash it every two or three days and use dry shampoo between.

Another thing that really helps me save on shampoo and conditioner is the pump on the shampoo and conditioner bottles.  I honestly never put much thought into how much difference the pump on a bottle would make, but it’s not only easier to use it also helps me save on shampoo and conditioner.  Using the pump helps me get the amount I need and not accidently waste any.

I’m happy with the results, my color looks better than it normally would at 6 weeks, and love the way my hair feels after using Pantene’s Platinum Color Lock Shampoo and Conditioner.
