Who is ready for summer? I know I sure am, and I’m already thinking about ways to get the kids outside this summer. My kids have been bugging me since the first day the sun was out, and we didn’t have to put jackets on to play in the water. However, living in New Mexico, the weather is unpredictable.

It’s hard to explain to children about the weather needed to be a particular temperature, lol. I tried, but they didn’t fully understand. So I told them we had to wait for their cousins to come over for Mattie’s Birthday. They knew but asked every single day when they were going to get to play on the water slides, lol. It takes me back to the days of being a kid, the days used to drag when there was something fun to look forward to. I honestly think Mattie was more excited about playing on the H2OGO! Water Slide than the fact that her birthday was right around the corner.
Once it was finally here, Mattie was by her dad’s side the entire time helping him set up the H2OGO! Water Slide.

Setting up the H2OGO! is super easy!
It only took us about 10 minutes to have it completely set up for the kids. We pretty much just needed to lay it out flat.
Fill up everything that needed filling and we were done. The kids were ready to play.
Of course, Mattie had to take a run on it before anything ever got started.
Variety of sizes
You can get the H2OGO! Water Slide in several different sizes – single, double, and even triple sized water slides. Which makes it even more fun for the kids to hang outside with their friends and even their siblings. My kids are always asking if they can go outside to play on the water slide, even when it’s only them, which is a plus!

Once the party got started, the kids were flying down the H2OGO! Water Slide. The H2OGO! Waterside is for children 5 to 12 years of age. Since the younger kids haven’t had much experience on the waterside, the older kids seemed to be much braver than the younger, but that didn’t last long.
Mattie seemed to be most of the time, but that didn’t last long, before I knew it she was requesting her OWN turn on the Water Side because she wanted to show off how fast she could go lol. She said she got the most speed when she went on her knees, lol. I’m going to have to agree, she flew down the slide pretty fast when she hit the Speed Ramp™ and glided onto the side on her knees.
We invited a few of Mattie’s cousins to the party, which lasted well into the night when the kids were finally ready to head to the front yard to bust the pinata.
I was honestly surprised how long they played on the H2OGO! Waterslide. Normally, the waterslides are fun but don’t seem to keep them interested all day.
The whole day was a blast; I was so busy putting sunscreen on kids I forgot about myself, and I definitely paid for it the next day or two. There were several happy parents too, let’s just say I received several calls from mom’s thanking us for the party because their kids slept in lol. I have to admit, it’s nice when you get the chance to sleep in as a parent, especially knowing your kids are sleeping nice and comfortable in their beds.
